Have a look at 123Royaltyfree. They have made some changes to their site..Looks like mostly cosmetic. They have added a Most Active section and a Most Downloads. There is also Most Effiecient that I still need to figure out wink

I was just about to post about that, in partcular the most efficient stat. I think it's a very good way of looking at performance.

It's expressed as a percentage but could just as easily be expressed as a ratio.

For a example if your efficiency is 500% it means that for every single image you have in your portfolio, you have sold 5.

What's more interesting is that you can go to the portfolio of the top performers and see what sort of stuff is more likely to sell. Looks like on 123 at least that illustrations do well.

The design is changed, but the statistics content not.
It would be a good thing to summarize things in one page, like online files, pending files, rejected files. Total earnings, earnings this motht, earnings today. An additional link, to the 'images downloaded' page and that's it. One single look and everything's checked... Smiley
I have sales there, I see that 0.22 is the royalty after 1 download. But on the front page there was a little bit complicated formula showing how many can you earn. How is that earning thing?

I looked at that formula too and basically the 0.22 cents is the minimum payout per image. theoretically you could get more if they do well in a particular month but realistically I don't know if that has ever happened.

For that to happen, I think that they would have to have fewer downloads than ususal and rely on people buying a subscription but not taking advantage  of all the downloads available.

Bottom line you get 22 cents per download.

I does seem a complicated way of doing things though.

They really should remove that formula.  When I first joined, the 22 cent download did not exist.  The payout was based on that crazy formula.  After enough complaints, they changed the rate to 22 cents, but never removed the formula.

I decided to go off my stat page and look around the site.  I realized that their basic subscription plan only allows for 5 dl's a day.  Seems a bit lean.  Not sure if it was always like that.

If you start clicking around at the keywords at the bottom of one of your images (where it says more images from Inmagine), you are taken off site to their Inmagine catalog, where the prices are much higher, cd's are offered and entire stock companies contribute.  Once there, there is no way back to 123 rf.   I'm wondering if this lack of separation and therefore lack of promotion of the 123 rf collection has anything to do with the plummeting sales there.  Something doesn't seem right with that whole thing.
