I have quite a few images of concerts - not so much band pictures but shots of a single entertainer for instance that I have not bothered to submit to stock sites - SS has tons of these sorts of photos but mostly of well-known or famous people. Most of the ones I have are well known in some circles, but certainly not worldwide.

One can be found here (multiple exposure in a dark hall):

This was taken at Collingwood's Elvis Festival, which is one of the largest and best attended functions of this sort worldwide. I have a lot of shots from stuff like this, some of which i have model releases for.

My own feeling is that they would have little or no use in stock?

I would have to agree with you Gracey. If you think about it, rarely does a designer, agent, or other buyer at a more professional level have an interest in people who aren't famous in many parts of the world or country. The only people who would potentially buy these shots are normal people who happen to have the need for pictures of Elvis impersonators.
So, in a nutshell, although they are great shots that are compelling in a unique way, I don't think they would have much use in the stock realm.
