I know, I know, this is an unnecessary post but I have been trying to upload for the past half hour or so with no luck When I hit upload I get, 'this page cannot be displayed'. I'm just too frustrated now to keep trying but will make another attempt later. Sad

I guess you were going to ask about FTP uploading. That's a little way off yet however, we will be getting a multi upload feature which will ease the burden of single uploads. I can't give you an exact timescale but hopefully not too far off.

It doesn't matter if it's one or more files when I'm using http. It's painful and means it will be awhile before I have a chunky portfolio here. You're not the only one I have this problem with and I use ftp whenever it's available. I'll survive. Smiley

Err..., in my humble opinion, that's a priority. You got some real big shots hooked here, like Phildate, which is one of the big sellers at DT (and other RF's). People like them can't afford to upload 1 by 1 as it is now. As far as I can see, the snapshot spammers didn't discover this site yet. As for me, I will only upload images that have been approved at 2 sites (BS, DT, IS, SS, CS, 123RF) at least, that should ease the burden of inspecting. And no, I don't include Scandinavian and Stockphotomedia, they swallow *everything*.

If you want this site to reach the 50,000 landmark fast (which is a viable minimum), you should allow FTP. In return, you could ask photographers only to upload stuff that has been approved on other sites. In a later stage bulk HTTP upload by 10 or so is fine too, but *please* get rid of that 1 by 1 soon. I was considering the PhotoStore of ktools too, and as I remember, they have bulk upload or FTP.

The way it is at the minute means that only I have ftp access. I realise it's a big issue but it's something that is taking time.

In the meantime I have offered the option of sending a disc directly to me for anyone with a large number of images and I'll upload them directly to the server myself.

If anyone wants to do that then please email me for the address to send the disc to.

Regards

I never get rejects at those sites, even in an instance where I uploaded a wrong version where the noise was oversharped.
