I just approved that Santa's hat photo and noticed that the apostrophe was there when the image was in the approval queue but is taken out before appearing on the site... Curious???

Yes, that's true, John.  But I'm going to let it be for now and not monkey with it any more.  Thanks for your effort.  I'm sure you will fix this glitch eventually.
