I am going to assume  I've missed this, cause I tend to scan more often than to read carefully - but just in case.....are you considering overall site statistics that may include:

or also perhaps some stats that would indicate traffic to the site by designers and customers?

You can already see the number of views per image in the following places.

Clicking on any of the categories on the left hand side, all photos have number of views listed. Also clicking on any thumbnail to see the larger preview displays the number of views at the bottom of the page...

You may not be aware but I also added the uncompressed files size as well as the approx print size of images at 300 dpi..

I also have a page that isn't linked to from the site itself which shows very basic stats for my own purpose but you're welcome to view them if you like..

http://microstockphoto.com/stats_page.php

At some point they will be integrated into the site proper but at the minute I'm concentrating on other aspects of the site..

Regards

Thanks for that!  It's nice to see the numbers.

Once again, tho, I have to ask - is there ANY way to see the site stats on the "other side"?  I am always curious, as I think others are, about exposure?  I know we are brand new, just getting off the ground here.  So it would be all the more interesting to see the stats grow - How many hits does the site get?  How many customers?  How many downloads?

It would also be very cool to see how many downloads the "most popular" images are getting as well.

Just my two cents! Cheesy

Well some of those figures are not going to be shown yet, but so far this month we have half a million hits..

Numbers of views per image are already available in categories on thumbnails and every image has a number of views when you click on the thumbnail.

Downloads per image may be added in a couple of months but I can tell you that it's costimg me more than we are making sad But that's expected at this early stage... I get the feeling that we are getting a lot of visitors, well I know we are and there have been some sales, but  choice is still relatively small for designers.

As we grow, so will the sales. I appreciate the effort and time everyone is putting in to get image numbers up. In fact it's growing faster than I anticipated.. We're heading close to 5,000 now.

20,000 appears to be a crticical number when buyers will take us more seriously. The reality is that until image numbers are high, we won't be considered a proper stock site but we are getting there.

Cheers

It's difficult to start a new business, but hang in there.  In the long run, it's way worth it.

I will do my part to bring that gallery up as quickly as possible!

LOL!

Thanks for the hard work.  It's looking good here.

John, can you put these two things on photographer's main page? Just because:
- it is hard to find this thread with this links,
- the first is a simple link, the second can be a flat html page...

Or some other elegant solution...

I was just wondering about, you will introduce in the future some affiliation program?

Well the firts page is not really for general release yet but I posted the link here for anyone who wants to look at it.

The banner is a good idea but I also have plans for a resource page where those links banner links will go
