Here is an UPGRADE list with things we are currently working on:

TOP PRIORITY UPDATES:
- Photographers MUST fill out a Title and choose a main category when uploading images. -DONE
- Visitors that want to purchase an image will now see the login to download link -DONE

- Building new approval system that allows a new level of approvers/moderators to approve images- IN PROGRESS
- Changing the upload system to a more stable system. -IN PROGRESS
- Email confirmation approved/rejected photos: to send 1 email at the end of the day which holds a list of all approved/ rejected images. -IN PROGRESS
- Template license option, for photographers that would like to make their photo's available for the use in Website templates for distribution ( with higher profits ) -ON 'WISH' LIST

- Now its also possible to search within each photographers portfolio for images based on keyword. -DONE
- Easier attachment of model releases.
- Creating some filters, so the visitors can show for example:
  Lastest downloads,- Newest,- Most Popular This Week,- Most Popular This Month,etc. -DONE
- SPEED of browsing through categories and images-DONE 31/07/2007 Finally solved the speed issues.
- Replacing the pricing system with a credit system. - DONE
- Implement new cache system that will load thumbnails on pages faster. - DONE
- Implementing feature for photographers to re-submit rejected photos. -DONE
- Increase quality of Thumbnails by using ImageMagick - DONE
- Model release upload section. -with option to select previous uploaded model release. -DONE
- Internal messaging system (For admin to send messages directly to photographers) -DONE
- Web version of the full sized photo (So customers can buy web size photos with a set size) - DONE

- Option to upload a .zip file with screenshot, so photographer can upload a package of graphics in different formats. -DONE
This option is meant for a package of graphical elements ONLY, not photos. for ex. Vector, EPS, Illustrator files.

You're doing a great job of keeping us all informed of how things are going. I'm glad to see so many more users signing up to the forum (although not many of the newbies posting as of yet) and it's really good to see how many great new photographs are being uploaded at the moment (they're putting my meagre portfolio to shame ).

Hello Madelaine,

yes, we know about the thumbnail problem.

We have just improved many other things and this thumbnail problem is actually something we are testing at this moment and hope to find a good solution for this very soon.

I hope everybody like the quality of the thumbnails better now and the speed they are loading, which was the biggest issue.

Thanks for keeping the list up to date to show us what's going on behind the scenes. I notice you've also added more categories when uploading photo's.

From a user point of view it does seem as though the site has become more popular with photographers recently as there appears to have been more photo's uploaded during the last few months and many new users on this forum. Hopefully this means that the buyers and designers will start realising how many good quality photo's are now available.

Thats indeed true, We are far over 18.000 images and are going for the Magical 20.000

We have done and are doing a lot of work as you know and have focused on quality most of all.

We also hope the sales will take off soon and are working hard on getting the 'word' out to point customer to our site.

latest changes:

- Model release upload section. DONE
With option to select previous uploaded model release.

- Internal messaging system (For admin to send messages directly to photographers) -DONE (some of you may allready have received some emails)
This cuts down the approvers time a lot.

-Order: There was a bug (was fixed earlier) when a customer ordered and did not receive a download link right after payment. this has been fixed now as well.

Added a new feature:

- Web version of the full sized photo max. 800 in width. (800x600) with seperate price. (So customers can buy web size photos with a set size) - DONE

Good news about all of the changes. The site is certainly improving all of the time - lets hope that all of your time and hard work is rewarded.
