Hi John, I cannot see anywhere else to post this, so if it is the wrong place please move it.  Tongue

I have a little moan about the screen where I view my own pictures. It is too wide! I have to keep scrolling to and fro to check keywords. Can you narrow it down a bit, or is it not in your control?

Thanks

Hi Clivia

Suggestions and Improvements would be the place so I've moved it here for you. That forum is now being monitored by Charles who has agreed to make some adjustments to the site according to feedback.

I'm just wondering, has anyone else noticed this? When I look on my computer it doesn't do that, there seems to be plenty of room and the window doesn't even fill the screen.

It may be worth checking what resolution you have your computer set to though. Mine is set to 1024x768 which is pretty ususal I believe. But it sounds like you may have your resolution set to 800x600 which will make things appear larger.

You can adjust your screen resolution in Windows in the display control panel, I can't remember the exact route in windows because I use a Mac.

If that's not the case the I'd be interested to hear if anyone else has the noticed the samething.

Hi John,

My screen is set at 1280 x 1024, which should allow me to see the whole screen, but doesn't.
I changed it to 800 x 600, which was very silly looking!
I have Windows XP, and a fairly new computer with a pentuim 4processor.

The wide screen does not occur anywhere else. For example, the forums are fine, fitting on screen no problem.

I have wandered around the site, and all the other pages fit with space either side.

Its not such a big problem, just a minor glitch! Don't spend time on it if it is only me it happens to.

Clivia,

Maybe one of your pictures (or all) have long list of keywords without spaces between them, something like
gdfgdfg,dfgdfgdgdgf,dfgdgd,vvffdvf,vffddfgdfgdg,dffgdgg,ddgdgfdg,dfgdfgdfgdgffgd,dgdfgdfgdfd,sgfgsgsdgdgf,dgdfgdgsd,sdfgsdfgsdgf,dfgdgdgf,dfgdgdfg,dfgdfgddas,adadadg,adfgdagfadgadg,adfgdafgdgf,adfgdgdgfgfdfadf,adfgadfgaddg

It's happened to a couple of people that have no spac es between keywords. Even if there is a comma you should leave a space. Not just because of this but on another site it can make all your keywords into one long nonsense keyword.
